📋 Description

• Navigate the Canadian reimbursement landscape to secure coverage with public and private payers • Lead appeal writing in collaboration with the designated PSP point of contact • Develop, implement, and support reimbursement updates, training, best-practice sharing, strategies, training, and products • Initiate cases with insurance companies and healthcare professionals to maximize reimbursement solutions • Respond efficiently and courteously to calls, emails, and voicemails • Set and process tasks on time to ensure optimal patient and physician experiences • Enroll patients into the Patient Support Program • Coordinate and track patient services for timely and continued therapy access • Update the CRM electronically and provide proactive updates to patients and clinics • Report Adverse Events and Severe Adverse Events according to SOP guidelines • Maintain required service levels for clients, projects, and initiatives • Collaborate with internal business units and provide feedback to the Manager • Complete billing, timesheets, expenses, mileage, and CRM reports within required timelines • Build organizational relationships and manage special projects • Maintain professionalism and strict confidentiality • Perform other duties assigned by the manager

🎯 Requirements

• Previous appeal writing experience with a proven track record of successful outcomes • Previous specialty pharmacy experience considered a strong asset • Prior Gastroenterology and/or Dermatology experience considered a strong asset • Experience working directly with Physicians and HCPs with comprehensive understanding of patient flow required • Previous Patient Support Programs experience preferred • Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite and phone systems • Experience working with databases, including ERP/CRM • Extensive computer and software skills • Strong organizational skills and ability to handle changing priorities independently • Accurate data entry into paper and electronic forms • Self-directed and able to work independently with minimal supervision • Knowledge of private and public reimbursement structures, systems, and navigation processes required • Ability to work from home with a quiet, private home office space • Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English • Strong analytical skills, including interpretation of regulation and legislation • Knowledge of the pharmaceutical distribution industry required • Interpersonal, customer service, problem-solving, and conflict resolution skills • Commitment to confidentiality and discretion
