• Partner with a Territory Business Leader (TBL) to launch a new innovative insulin pump and future Sequel products • Deliver clinical education and product training for people with diabetes and healthcare providers • Drive product adoption and support persistent use • Formulate territory strategies and initiatives with the TBL to meet or exceed territory goals • Develop territory planning and strategies with the TBL • Execute clinical selling strategies within assigned accounts • Assess referrals to confirm criteria for product utilization • Facilitate product education, training, virtual training, and educational webinars • Drive healthcare provider adoption through clinical-benefit promotion and product demonstrations • Certify healthcare providers to conduct product training • Communicate user feedback cross-functionally to improve products • Collaborate with customer care and sales support to optimize user experience • Participate in conventions, educational forums, meetings, and patient advocacy or professional diabetes organizations • Manage leads and opportunities in the customer relations database and submit product training documentation • Assist with field sales and clinical training • Participate in cross-functional advisory boards • Mentor junior staff • Lead team, regional, or area calls and meetings as needed
• Valid professional license as an RN, RD, PA, NP, or Pharmacist • 2+ years of experience coordinating and conducting diabetes education • Strong experience in the technical use of diabetes technology preferred • CDCES certification required for the Senior CDS role • 4+ years of clinical diabetes education experience for the Senior CDS role • Experience coordinating and conducting diabetes device education in the medical device industry preferred • Demonstrated history of high performance; top-tier success and clinical-metric achievement for the Senior CDS role • Excellent presentation and communication skills • Ability to respond to patient and healthcare-provider questions in real time • Strong data analysis, evaluation, and problem-solving skills • Knowledge of diabetes products and therapies • Must live within the assigned geography • Ability to function in a fast-paced start-up environment • Valid driver’s license required • Ability to carry and transport professional samples and literature • Ability to commute and spend extended periods driving daily, including possible overnight travel • Senior CDS: experience in field sales training, mentoring, advisory boards, industry conferences, career progression, strategic problem-solving, and sales or sales-partnership success
