📋 Description

• Lead the design and governance of core KPIs, metric definitions, and semantic layers • Deliver complex analytical work using advanced SQL across RDS, Oracle, Redshift, and Athena • Perform query performance tuning and cost-conscious querying • Use Python to create reproducible analyses, automation scripts, and data validation checks • Define data quality expectations and implement automated checks and anomaly detection • Collaborate with engineering teams to triage and resolve data-quality issues • Conduct deep-dive analyses, cohorting, funneling, forecasting, and experiment design • Create and maintain Source-to-Target Mapping documents with upstream and downstream stakeholders • Improve query performance through sort keys, distribution keys, partitioning, predicate pushdown, and compression awareness • Establish version control and peer-review processes for analytics assets • Contribute to lightweight CI for SQL and tests • Collaborate with data stakeholders to drive business-critical analytics

🎯 Requirements

• Degree holders for the visa application process • Expert-level proficiency in SQL on RDS, Oracle, and Redshift, including deep query tuning and vacuum/analyze awareness • Proven expertise in AWS Athena, including partitions, file formats, and cost-control strategies • Advanced Business Intelligence development skills, data storytelling, and dashboard UX best practices • Strong Python programming skills for analysis, automation, packaging, and reusable analytics functions • Solid foundation in statistics for inference and experiment design, with practical business application • Ability to translate complex business needs into analytical solutions • Experience with Confluence and Jira collaboration tools • Resilience, emotional intelligence, and agile delivery mindset • Understanding of the distinction between coding and engineering • Advanced modeling tools and analytics-layer governance experience preferred • Familiarity with AWS Glue Data Catalog, IAM basics, and S3 file formats such as Parquet/ORC preferred • Exposure to Kinesis, SNS, SQS, and data freshness SLAs preferred • Ability to build scalable dashboards and data models in QuickSight or Tableau preferred • Familiarity with cloud-native foundations or AI coding assistants such as GitHub Copilot preferred • Advanced oral English • Advanced Spanish
