📋 Description

• Direct and coordinate educational, administrative, and counseling activities • Ensure educational programs conform to state and local school board standards • Research and implement non-K12 curriculum resources as needed • Articulate the school’s mission and vision to stakeholders • Use communication technologies supporting a predominantly virtual/remote work environment • Ensure student needs are met while complying with special education and categorical program laws • Interface with students, families, local Municipal Court systems, and local districts regarding attendance and engagement compliance • Develop and oversee implementation of the Student Achievement Improvement Plan • Supervise and evaluate teaching staff • Manage teacher performance and provide professional development training • Manage Master and Lead Teachers and programs • Confer with teachers, students, and parents concerning educational and behavioral problems • Coordinate with teachers and K12 Enrollment regarding expulsions and withdrawals • Supervise 15–30 FTE regular employees and/or contractors • Interview, hire, train, assign, evaluate, reward, and discipline employees; address complaints and resolve problems

🎯 Requirements

• Texas Principal certification • Must reside within the state of Texas • Previous supervisory experience • Master’s degree • Five (5) years of educational experience OR equivalent combination of education and experience • Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Project, Visio, etc.) proficiency • Web proficiency • Ability to travel 10% of the time for meetings, professional development, etc. • Ability to clear required background check • Previous experience as an online Educator (desired) • Previous administrative experience (desired)
