📋 Description

• Analyze complex scientific datasets to uncover insights and support strategic initiatives • Map business process rules so data solutions align with operational realities • Create insight-driven solutions providing visibility into KPIs and performance metrics • Conduct deep-dive analyses and support evidence-based recommendations • Engage business stakeholders to identify requirements for current and future products • Lead requirements workshops and User Acceptance Testing for data, product, and analytics solutions • Analyze business processes and develop business flow and data flow diagrams • Work cross-functionally with engineering, product, and business teams • Perform data profiling, mining, and validation/testing • Perform ad-hoc analysis and present results clearly • Build strong business relationships and collaborative partnerships

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor degree in Business Management, Computer Science or any related field • Master in Business Administration, Information Systems, or Computer Science is an asset • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills • Ability to understand complex datasets with strong attention to detail • Ability to translate requirements into well-written user stories • Strong business mindset and ability to collaborate with business partners • Ability to identify key areas for deep analysis and support sound solutions • Ability to work independently and collaboratively • Minimum of 5 years’ experience writing complex SQL queries, data mining, data profiling, and data validation/testing • Minimum of 5 years’ experience as a Business Systems Analyst / Data Analyst specializing in Data & Analytics, preferably in a senior or lead role • Minimum of 5 years’ experience organizing and running User Acceptance Testing cycles and training with business users and stakeholders • Experience with Power BI, Tableau, Looker, or MicroStrategy • Experience working in Agile Software Development Methodology • Experience in life science or Biotechnology industry is a plus • Must be based in Canada
