• Plan, execute, and manage internal and external project teams, with final responsibility for schedule, budget, quality, and client satisfaction • Manage 2–5 construction projects concurrently across design, fabrication, installation, and closeout phases • Coordinate day-to-day activities with subcontractors, team members, clients, owners, and suppliers • Plan project deliverables, identify pitfalls, and minimize risk • Create and update detailed project schedules • Prepare SOV/billing schedules, pay applications, and project work orders • Manage fast-track mockups, drafting, fabrication, installation planning, and subcontracted manufacturing • Schedule and chair production and installation planning meetings • Monitor drafting and engineering firms and obtain stamped submittal drawings • Review submittal drawings, costing, budgets, blueprints, and project quantities • Coordinate client/architect submittal comment reviews and field dimensioning • Visit construction sites with supervisors and installers to verify staging, access, and safety • Communicate schedule, design, and installation information to clients throughout the project lifecycle • Manage project closeout, quality control, punch-list work, safety requirements, and subcontractors • Coordinate, price, prospect for, and manage change orders • Review daily field reports and perform weekly task reviews with subordinates • Maintain Procore drawings, change order logs, payment applications, RFI logs, submittal logs, and transmittal logs in real time
• 10+ years of experience in commercial construction management • 3+ years of industry experience with metal and glass stairs • Higher Education with Bachelor’s Degree • Excellent computer skills • Proficiency in scheduling software, Excel, Word, and Outlook • Ability to read and comprehend blueprints • Demonstrated proactive professional work ethic and ethical standards • Ability to delegate responsibilities effectively • Ability to execute multiple project management efforts • Experience designing or building feature staircases • OSHA 30 certification, or ability to obtain within six months of employment • Organizational, problem-solving, communication, thoroughness, time-management, and initiative skills • Ability to thrive in dynamic relationships with coworkers, subcontractors, fabrication shops, and contractors • Ability to use PPE in compliance with OSHA standards and site-specific safety programs • Ability to occasionally lift and move up to 15 pounds • Capacity for occasional travel to local and national job sites, 4–7 days per month
