📋 Description

• Design, implement, and test frontend and backend features across tax filing systems • Debug and resolve application issues, improving performance and reliability • Participate in design and code reviews • Collaborate with product, design, and QA to scope and deliver reliable features on time • Write testable, production-quality code, leveraging AI tools when appropriate • Contribute to overall system maintainability • Build deep understanding of the tax filing domain, system architecture, and codebase • Challenge assumptions, propose improvements, and contribute to technical design and delivery decisions • Take ownership of complex features and solve challenging technical problems across mature and evolving systems

🎯 Requirements

• 5+ years of professional software engineering experience • Strong experience developing applications with .NET • Experience with Vue and/or Angular • Exposure to C++ is helpful but not required; comfort learning and working with C++ as needed • Familiarity with Microsoft development tools and workflows such as Visual Studio, SQL Server, and Azure DevOps • Experience building, debugging, and maintaining production systems • Ability to independently break down complex problems, evaluate solutions, and drive work through completion • Experience contributing to technical design discussions and code reviews • Familiarity with AI-assisted development workflows such as GitHub Copilot, Cursor, Claude Code, or similar tools, and willingness to continue developing that skill • Equal employment opportunity applicant
