📋 Description

• Contribute to the development, prioritization, and execution of strategic initiatives shaping TD’s community giving portfolio • Lead end-to-end management of a regional portfolio of community partnerships across the Pacific region • Identify regional trends, community needs, and partnership opportunities • Assess and recommend community giving opportunities using evidence-based analysis, due diligence, and judgment • Design and manage multi-year partnerships delivering measurable community outcomes • Develop and manage relationships with non-profit and community-based organizations • Serve as primary relationship lead and strategic advisor for assigned partners • Review funding proposals and partnership opportunities • Prepare recommendations, briefing materials, and proposals for executives and governance committees • Represent TD at regional community events and prepare executives for participation • Build relationships across TD business lines to align community partnerships with enterprise priorities • Advise on community giving opportunities, partnerships, and social impact outcomes • Collaborate with regional TD teams, business stakeholders, colleague engagement partners, and internal advisory groups • Design and execute activation opportunities, including events, volunteer initiatives, digital campaigns, storytelling, executive participation, and partnership integrations • Develop communications strategies with Marketing, Communications, regional teams, and external partners • Identify impact stories and community partner outcomes • Oversee approvals, contracting, budgeting, reporting, and stewardship processes • Administer the community giving budget, including tracking, controls, and documentation • Ensure accurate reporting on community partnership activities and outcomes • Improve policies, procedures, tools, and processes supporting governance, compliance, and operational excellence • Support peers and associates in simplifying processes, improving decisions, and enhancing operational efficiency

🎯 Requirements

• University degree and/or equivalent relevant experience • 7+ years of experience in community investment, philanthropy, stakeholder engagement, partnership development, community relations, public affairs, social impact, sustainability, corporate responsibility, government relations, or the non-profit sector • Strong understanding of corporate donations, sponsorships, community investment, and the Canadian non-profit landscape • Experience working in a large, matrixed organization or financial institution • Experience managing highly visible partnerships or projects with multiple internal and external stakeholders • Knowledge of sustainability, impact measurement, and community development trends is considered an asset • Strong strategic thinking and business acumen • Excellent relationship management skills • Strong written, verbal, presentation, and executive-ready briefing skills • Strong judgment, discretion, and ability to manage sensitive and confidential conversations diplomatically • Ability to operate with a high degree of proactive ownership • Strong project management and organizational skills • Ability to analyze proposals, synthesize insights, assess risk and alignment, and make clear recommendations • Ability to navigate changing priorities, ambiguity, and complexity • Demonstrated commitment to diversity, inclusion, and working respectfully with diverse communities • Ability to balance business and community objectives • Experience using all Microsoft Office tools and comfort using Copilot and AI tools • Experience with granting, workflow, or community investment platforms is considered an asset • Primarily remote/offsite work • Non-standard hours may occur • Periodic domestic travel may be required
