📋 Description

• Architect, develop, and deploy scalable, production-grade services across the core Testlio software platform • Author architectural standards and reference patterns defining domain boundaries and decoupling the codebase into modular services • Partner with the Director of Engineering on frontend framework consolidation, operational performance, and observability • Design for security, cost-efficiency, system efficiency, and ISO 27001 expectations • Integrate secure AI/LLM patterns into customer-facing surfaces with operational guardrails and failure modes for the Quality API • Advise executive, product, and engineering teams on technical tradeoffs and translate business needs into technical strategies • Participate in a remote interview process including recruiter interview, TestGorilla assessment, team and stakeholder interviews, reference checks, and background check

🎯 Requirements

• 15+ years of hands-on software development experience building cloud-native, business-critical platforms • Advanced mastery of distributed system patterns, data modeling, event-driven design, and relational and NoSQL database technologies • Proven experience designing and migrating application infrastructures from monolithic architectures to modular services • Deep experience establishing enterprise-ready patterns in AWS, including high availability, cost optimization, and secure infrastructure • Strong familiarity with modern full-stack code environments, including front-end web frameworks, scripting languages, and CI/CD pipelines • Production-grade experience deploying AI/ML or LLM-based solutions with observable, safe automation patterns • Fluency in English • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills • Ability to operate effectively as an individual contributor in fast-paced, ambiguous environments • Strong collaboration and alignment skills for guiding distributed engineering teams without direct authority • Outstanding analytical thinking • Ability to communicate and document technical decisions asynchronously across global time zones
