📋 Description

• Provide telephone and email support for the company’s tax software products • Apply company policies and procedures to resolve customer issues • Log customer requests and reported issues • Participate in software quality-control testing • Identify and record recurring customer issues • Use active listening to de-escalate potentially tense customer interactions • Work 100% from home

🎯 Requirements

• Minimum of 1 year of relevant customer service experience • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience • Bilingualism in French and English is an asset • Availability to work overtime • Availability to work weekends during tax season • Strong organizational and priority-management skills • Ability to perform effectively under pressure • Excellent verbal and written communication skills • Strong problem-solving abilities and the ability to develop innovative solutions • Willingness to learn new products and services as needed • University degree in taxation or a related field is an asset • Completion of the H&R Block tax course is an asset • Good knowledge of the accounting cycle and/or experience in an accounting office is an asset • Interest in taxation is an asset • Knowledge of corporate income tax (T2/CO-17) and/or trust tax (T3/TP-646) is an asset
