📋 Description

• Provide taxation support to clients by telephone and email for tax software for Professionals and Consumers • Apply active listening skills to diffuse potentially tense customer interactions • Apply company policy and procedures to resolve routine customer issues • Log orders from customers who want to purchase products • Participate in software quality control testing • Write standard answers for frequently asked questions (FAQ) • Determine recurrent client issues and inform the supervisor

🎯 Requirements

• Good knowledge of income tax • Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively and cross-functionally • Strong time management skills and ability to manage multiple priorities • Ability to perform well under pressure • Good communication (verbal & written) • Strong problem-solving abilities and ability to generate innovative solutions • Team player with a flexible attitude and approach • Customer service orientation and experience, with proven success in customer support and relationship management • Willingness to learn additional products and services as needed • Minimum of 1 year of relevant work experience in customer service • Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent experience • University degree in taxation or related field (accounting, finance, administration) (asset) • H & R Block tax course graduate (asset) • Good knowledge of the accounting cycle and/or experience in an accounting office (asset) • Interest in taxation (asset) • Knowledge of corporate income tax (T2/CO-17) and/or trust (T3/TP-646) (asset)
