📋 Description

• Report directly to the Technical Director • Design and build high-performance, scalable user interfaces • Own the APIs and data layer powering full-stack applications • Lead architecture, design, and development of complex applications using React, Next.js, TypeScript, and Node.js-based APIs and services • Design and build RESTful and/or GraphQL APIs, including data modeling, authentication, and SQL/NoSQL database integration • Collaborate with clients, product managers, UI/UX designers, and back-end engineers to turn business requirements and design mockups into full-stack solutions • Provide technical guidance to junior and mid-level engineers across front-end and back-end best practices • Drive adoption of modern development techniques, tools, and frameworks • Ensure application performance, scalability, security, and maintainability across the UI, API, and data layers • Leverage Next.js server-side capabilities including SSR, RSC, and API routes • Participate in cross-stack code reviews • Troubleshoot and debug issues spanning client, API, and data layers • Communicate technical concepts and project progress to technical and non-technical stakeholders, including clients • Evaluate and recommend emerging front-end and back-end technologies and approaches • Contribute to project planning, estimation, and technical documentation

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience • 5+ years of professional experience as a Front-End or Full-Stack Engineer, with a strong focus on React, Next.js, and TypeScript • 2+ years of hands-on backend experience building and maintaining Node.js APIs and working with relational or NoSQL databases • Minimum of 3 years of experience in a Digital Agency environment, with direct client interaction and management • Expertise building responsive, accessible, and performant web applications with well-designed APIs and data models • Deep understanding of modern JavaScript on the client and server • Extensive experience with state management libraries such as Redux, Zustand, or Context API • Experience with SSR, React Server Components (RSC), and static site generation (SSG) • Strong understanding of front-end build tools and package managers such as Webpack, Vite, npm, or Yarn • Experience with testing frameworks such as Jest/Vitest, React Testing Library, Cypress, or Supertest • Familiarity with Git workflows • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and presentation skills • Ability to manage multiple priorities, meet deadlines, and work effectively in a fast-paced, client-facing environment • A strong portfolio demonstrating complex, full-stack projects is a significant plus • Bonus: experience with GraphQL API design and schema architecture • Bonus: experience with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud, including deploying and managing backend services • Bonus: familiarity with Docker or serverless deployment patterns • Bonus: understanding of SEO best practices for front-end development • Bonus: contributions to open-source projects
