📋 Description

• Ship user-facing mobile features end-to-end, from design handoff through release • Build new experiences and enhance existing workflows in customer- and service-professional-facing Thumbtack applications • Work across iOS and Android when needed, using agentic tools and frontier models to accelerate delivery • Collaborate with product managers, designers, and backend engineers to scope, build, and iterate on features • Shape GenAI integration strategy • Deliver integrations with major partners and tailored experiences for partner-specific needs • Build new experiences for additional verticals and industries

🎯 Requirements

• Fluency with either Android or iOS development • Deep hands-on expertise with the modern language and UI stack on at least one platform: Kotlin + Jetpack Compose on Android, or Swift + SwiftUI on iOS • 6+ years of industry software experience, with significant time building consumer-facing mobile features • Strong product sense and ability to translate product and design requirements into technical implementation • Track record of owning features through the full lifecycle, including experimentation, A/B testing, metrics instrumentation, data-driven iteration, and post-launch support • Facility in navigating app store review, OS version support, and device fragmentation • Must answer whether employment visa sponsorship will be required now or in the future
