📋 Description

• Lead delivery of reliable, scalable, mission-critical services • Guide squads on Kubernetes and modern deployment patterns • Partner with Fitch Ratings Development Squads and Operations to design and advance service builds and DevOps tooling • Drive operational excellence • Architect and govern GitHub Actions CI/CD with quality gates, canary and blue-green strategies, and AI-assisted redeploy checks • Own observability in Datadog, including SLIs/SLOs, dashboards, alerting, and Microsoft Teams integrations • Reduce incidents through telemetry-driven automation and blameless postmortems • Champion AI-enabled operations using AWS Bedrock, SageMaker, and Model Context Protocol for log analysis, anomaly detection, incident triage, and workflow orchestration • Establish adoption guardrails for AI-enabled operations • Define and enforce cloud guardrails and security controls, including SCPs/IAM boundaries, OPA policies, tagging, and centralized logging with AWS Config, CloudTrail, and Security Hub • Partner with Security and Risk

🎯 Requirements

• 3–6 months contract duration • Deep, hands-on experience in SRE, DevOps, or Platform Engineering across AWS and Azure • Strong track record operating Docker and Kubernetes in production environments • Highly proficient in administering Linux and Windows • Enterprise-level experience supporting IIS/.NET applications and Java Spring Boot services • Experience building and maintaining CI/CD pipelines, primarily GitHub Actions • DevSecOps experience integrating security scans, policy-as-code, and compliance gates • Scripting proficiency in Python, PowerShell, or Bash • Experience with cloud security best practices, including IAM, secrets management, and container/image scanning • Understanding of networking, storage, DNS, and APM/telemetry tooling • Practical experience with agentic AI for operations is advantageous • Experience supporting AI/ML workloads at scale is advantageous • Experience with OPA policy-as-code and compliance implementation across CIS, NIST, and ISO 27001 is advantageous • Experience applying AI in CI/CD, observability, and incident response is advantageous • Hands-on Agile delivery experience, including stand-ups and sprint ceremonies, is advantageous
