📋 Description

• Provide operational leadership to the Toromont teams at Concord Head Office Operations • Lead safety indicators and ensure each Toromont branch develops a culture of safety and continuous improvement • Ensure financial operational objectives are achieved, focusing on technician growth and development, parts loyalty and return on assets • Ensure mine sites focus on fleet performance metrics that meet customer production targets, product problem management, technology product implementation and alignment with Caterpillar global account targets • Champion health, safety and environmental activities, including staff development, committee meetings, SOP reviews, environmental reporting and onboarding health and safety presentations • Review monthly fleet performance reports, rationalize invoicing, manage receivables and dispute resolution, review CVA contract health, conduct monthly account reviews and grow key influencer relationships • Manage, coach and mentor direct reports to achieve site operational metrics and support succession planning and career development • Collaborate with the Timmins branch, Operations Support and site teams to determine go-to-market strategy for parts and service • Support equipment and technology transactions with assigned Key Account Managers • Develop opportunity targets to maximize share of wallet on customer parts and service spend • Ensure 100% customer loyalty on major component purchases • Lead cost-per-tonne reduction projects with customers, Toromont and Caterpillar staff • Manage top five product problems by site with corrective action plans and monthly technical calls • Plan, budget and manage site expenses to achieve or exceed financial objectives • Conduct CVA contract bi-annual reviews with liability reviews and control measures • Oversee parts and labour contracts with annual renewals • Act as accountable leader for Accounts Receivable for each branch operation

🎯 Requirements

• Completed post-secondary education with a focus in mining or operations management • Minimum 5 years operational experience, preferably in a mining operation • Health, safety and environmental operational experience with an impeccable performance record • Superior communication, negotiating, analytical and organizational skills • Excellent customer service skills • Strong leadership, coaching and team building skills • Self-motivated and able to adapt to changing and multiple priorities • Experience planning and organization skills with the ability to manage often competing priorities in a fast-paced, deadline drive environment • Valid Divers License • Knowledgeable with Microsoft applications along with strong computer skills • Solid business acumen and the ability to oversee financial operations
