📋 Description

• Own full-cycle accounting and month-end close for client files • Review team work and deliver clean, reconciled books • Prepare monthly management packages and budget/forecast variance reports • Translate financial findings into action-ready recommendations • Build annual budgets, rolling forecasts, and cash-flow models • Create and maintain dashboards and KPI reporting • Design and implement accounting policies, procedures, and internal controls • Lead ERP implementations, clean-ups, and process improvements • Identify automation opportunities • Oversee payroll, sales tax, and government and regulatory filings • Prepare year-end working papers and support • Coordinate with external accountants, auditors, and tax advisors

🎯 Requirements

• CPA designation required • Significant controllership and/or public accounting experience • Experience supporting private, owner-managed, or growth-stage companies ideally • Assurance experience at a public accounting firm is an asset • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills • Ability to maintain professional relationships with clients and team members through open and effective communication • High attention to accuracy and account reconciliation • ERP systems experience with NetSuite, QuickBooks Online, Xero, or Sage is a bonus • Construction industry experience is a bonus • FP&A or financial modelling experience is a bonus
