📋 Description

• Embed directly with intelligence analysts to understand their goals, constraints, and workflows • Translate analyst needs into technical solutions with clear success criteria • Identify high-leverage opportunities to improve intelligence collection • Prioritize and productize solutions for durable adoption • Design, build, and own AI-powered internal applications end-to-end • Build back-end services, APIs, data storage, infrastructure, and user-facing interfaces • Develop custom agentic solutions using models such as OpenAI, Anthropic, and Gemini • Own technical design, architecture, scoping, delivery, iteration, and ongoing support • Build reliable, scalable systems for analysts • Evaluate impact and iterate based on outcomes • Lead projects as a technical anchor on a weekly sprint schedule • Triage customer support requests from designated Slack channels for internal tools • Collaborate with internal stakeholders to deliver impactful features

🎯 Requirements

• 6+ years of full-stack software engineering experience building scalable web applications, services, and APIs • Strong product sense and ability to identify and ship high-impact, scalable solutions • Proficiency in Python and/or JavaScript/TypeScript • Strong back-end and systems engineering skills • Experience building backend systems and designing APIs • Experience with datastores such as Postgres/pgvector, Pinecone, and Redis • Hands-on experience with AI tools and applications, modern AI models, agentic IDEs, or AI-enabled workflows/prototypes • High degree of ownership and initiative; ability to operate independently in ambiguous problem spaces • Strong communication skills and ability to build trust with semi-technical stakeholders • Ability to explain technical trade-offs clearly • Willingness and ability to participate in the internal-tools on-call rotation • At least 6 hours of overlap with PST, specifically 8 am to 2 pm PST
