📋 Description

• Be the primary legal partner to the Marketing team, shaping Alma's voice across community engagement and immigration content. • Translate legal expertise into clear guidance across channels like social media and customer-facing materials. • Review and personalize social media responses to ensure legal accuracy. • Participate in discussions, AMAs, webinars, and initiatives to establish Alma as a trusted voice in employment-based immigration. • Identify recurring immigration questions and develop proactive content. • Write scripts and appear in educational videos and content. • Review legal accuracy, clarity, and usefulness of content across guides, blogs, and educational materials. • Publish attorney-backed breakdowns of USCIS announcements and key updates. • Help build and maintain Alma's immigration knowledge base. • Partner with Growth, Product, and Legal teams to develop educational content from common client questions.

🎯 Requirements

• 4+ years of experience practicing U.S. employment-based immigration law. • Experience across a broad range of employment-based visa categories, including O-1A/B, EB-1A/B, H-1B, L-1, E-2, TN, PERM, and related pathways. • Exceptional writing skills to explain complex immigration concepts clearly and practically. • Enjoy educating people and building trust through thoughtful communication. • Comfortable speaking publicly in videos, webinars, podcasts, and community events. • Strong legal judgment to distinguish between general educational guidance and fact-specific legal advice. • Comfortable using modern technology to help attorneys work more effectively. • Analytical and creative thinking to spot patterns across cases and translate insights into educational content. • Collaboration across Legal, Growth, Product, Marketing, and Operations. • Proactive approach to shape how immigration knowledge is delivered at scale. • Must hold a J.D. or LL.B. (or equivalent law degree) and be eligible to practice law in your jurisdiction. • Experience advising on U.S. immigration law is required.
