📋 Description

• Design, develop, test, and maintain secure, scalable, maintainable, and production-ready full-stack application capabilities • Develop backend services, APIs, integrations, automation, and supporting tools • Build and enhance cloud-based and on-premise cybersecurity and compliance applications • Build software supporting post-quantum cryptography, cryptographic modernization, crypto-agility, risk analysis, and compliance workflows • Design and implement integrations with cloud services, security technologies, vulnerability management platforms, monitoring solutions, and third-party systems • Ingest, process, correlate, and present security and compliance information while automating monitoring, vulnerability management, evidence collection, control management, and reporting workflows • Design data models and normalization/correlation logic for multi-source records while preserving provenance and confidence • Implement configurable scoring, prioritization, and risk analytics for gap analysis, trend analysis, and scenario comparison • Model asset, system, and organizational relationships for drill-down and graph-based analysis • Implement role-based access control and role-differentiated views • Develop and improve CI/CD pipelines and automated deployment processes • Build, deploy, and support containerized and cloud-native applications • Use and evaluate AI-assisted software development tools in coding, debugging, refactoring, testing, documentation, and code analysis • Troubleshoot complex application, integration, deployment, and production issues • Participate in architecture, design, code reviews, testing, documentation, release management, deployment, and continuous improvement • Apply secure software development and DevSecOps practices and translate security and domain requirements into software capabilities

🎯 Requirements

• Demonstrated professional experience designing, developing, and supporting production software applications • Experience designing, developing, and consuming RESTful APIs and integrating applications with external systems and services • Experience with relational databases, data modeling, backend application architecture, and modern front-end web development technologies • Experience designing and building data-intensive or data analytics applications across large, complex, or multi-source datasets • Experience modeling and querying hierarchical, relational, or graph-like relationship data • Experience working within a CI/CD and DevOps-based software delivery environment • Experience with Infrastructure as Code • Experience with Docker, containers, or other managed container platforms • Demonstrated experience using AI-assisted software development tools such as Claude Code, OpenAI Codex, Cursor, GitHub Copilot, or comparable technologies • Ability to independently troubleshoot software, integration, deployment, and production issues • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills • Ability to collaborate across software engineering, product, cloud, cybersecurity, and compliance teams • Comfort operating in a high-ambiguity, early-stage product environment • Experience working with Modular Open Systems Architecture relying largely on open-source technology • US Citizenship with the ability to obtain a security clearance • DOD/DoW Secret or Top Secret clearance is preferred • Ability to support hybrid-remote work in the DC area is preferred • Desired experience in cybersecurity, cloud security, GRC, compliance, continuous monitoring, post-quantum cryptography, data ingestion/correlation, scoring or recommendation engines, graph databases, Kubernetes, GitHub Actions, GitLab CI, NIST RMF, NIST SP 800-53 Rev. 5, NIST CSF, FedRAMP, FISMA, vulnerability management, POA&M management, security controls, evidence collection, continuous monitoring, cryptographic concepts, security tools, federal government or highly regulated environments • Software development experience with Python or professional experience developing applications using Django or Go (Golang), with familiarity with JavaScript/TypeScript or other modern application development languages
