📋 Description

• Lead UAMS consolidated-level financial reporting and analysis • Prepare, analyze, and review key financial reports for UAMS, University System, and State of Arkansas leadership • Perform advanced analyses, reconciliations, research, and accounting-system entries • Serve as UAMS liaison with the State of Arkansas on finance and accounting matters • Oversee required reporting, State revenue draws, and interaction with the State accounting system and staff • Direct budget and financial planning operations, including campus budget planning and resource allocation • Provide oversight and reporting for capital budgeting, cash management and forecasting, financial forecasting, and external budget reporting • Lead development of budget and financial planning policies, procedures, and processes • Hire, supervise, lead, and review financial reporting, planning, and analysis staff • Collaborate with internal, external, and legislative auditors • Perform other assignments requested by UAMS senior leadership

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in business, accounting, finance, or related field • Six (6) years of experience in financial reporting and general ledger reporting • Five (5) years of supervisory/leadership experience • Knowledge of Arkansas Administrative Statewide Information System (AASIS) • Exceptional verbal and written communication skills • Expertise with Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and other software programs • Flexibility and ability to work in a fast-paced and high-pressure environment • Proof of legal authority to work in the United States on the first day of employment • Criminal background check and pre-employment screening
