📋 Description

• Contribute to the design, architecture, and development of the RightAnswers platform • Develop new features, integrations, and software defect fixes • Participate in code reviews and provide feedback on designs and code • Balance technical debt, feature development, and customer support • Troubleshoot and diagnose issues in code and production environments • Resolve complex problems using a rational, structured approach • Make tactical and strategic trade-offs • Take accountability for technical debt in owned software • Support the team in delivering features when required • Use AI agents for development • Work side-by-side with engineers on backend development, database design, and database development

🎯 Requirements

• 2–4 years of experience • Bachelor’s degree or technical institute degree/certificate in Computer Science, Information Systems, or another related field, or equivalent combination of knowledge and experience • Spring Boot, Spring MVC, Spring Data JDBC, JPA, and Spring Security • Java EE, including Servlets, JSTL, JSP, and JDBC • Microsoft SQL Server, including optimized queries, stored procedures, and triggers • API design using REST and JAX-RS • Frontend frameworks such as ReactJS and/or Angular • TypeScript, JavaScript, and jQuery • Bootstrap, HTML5, CSS, and SASS • Experience working with third-party APIs • Experience with cloud-based version control, mainly GitHub or Bitbucket • Comfortable with Agentic AI development • Some SQL queries or procedures • Experience with React framework • Ability to regularly overlap with multiple time zones for meetings and updates • Comfortable working without a company office as part of a fully remote team
