📋 Description

• Manage various drug discovery projects by communicating internally and externally to meet project goals • Plan, facilitate, execute, and deliver projects within agreed-upon timelines, resources, and objectives • Understand scientific project aims and coordinate team members • Identify and address issues to keep projects moving forward • Document major objectives, milestones, required resources, tasks, and timelines • Work with scientific and technical leads to map out project plans • Establish and coordinate communication methods, including regular team, individual breakout, and sub-team meetings • Maintain and distribute regular project status updates to stakeholders • Integrate the voice of the customer with internal stakeholders to meet project demands

🎯 Requirements

• Ph.D. in synthetic organic chemistry, computational chemistry, or medicinal chemistry • Experience managing drug discovery projects in an industrial setting • Three or more years of experience in small molecule drug discovery in the pharma, biotech, or CRO industry • Professional experience with at least two core competencies: medicinal chemistry, molecular modeling techniques, pharmacology, and/or synthetic organic chemistry • Ability to communicate effectively with customers and integrate customer feedback with internal stakeholders • Proficiency with multidisciplinary project integration • Evidence of creative approaches to solving problems of pharmaceutical interest • Ability to communicate, collaborate, delegate, and deliver results in a fast-paced environment • Ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously • Familiarity with multiple drug target classes • Intellectual curiosity and drive to excel • Strong interest in learning machine learning technology; machine learning knowledge is not required
