📋 Description

• Ensure compliance with applicable import/export regulations by maintaining accurate documentation and monitoring regulatory updates • Classify products using the Harmonized Tariff Schedule (HTS) across multiple jurisdictions and maintain tariff databases • Prepare, review, and submit customs documentation, entry amendments, and duty drawback claims • Coordinate with customs brokers, freight carriers, and regulatory agencies to resolve shipment issues • Maintain and audit trade compliance records, including Certificates of Origin, COO documentation, and HTS classifications • Verify and approve freight, brokerage, duty, and tax invoices • Conduct internal audits of shipping and customs processes and implement corrective actions • Partner cross-functionally to set up new products in ERP systems with compliant trade data • Support internal stakeholders and customers with order or shipment inquiries • Provide order processing support and collaborate with Sales, Shipping, and Operations to ensure accurate fulfillment and customer satisfaction

🎯 Requirements

• Diploma or bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Logistics, International Trade, Business, or related field, or equivalent experience • 2–4 years of experience in customs compliance, logistics, or international trade • Working knowledge of import/export regulations, tariff classification (HTS), and trade agreements such as USMCA • Experience working with customs brokers and freight carriers • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel, and ERP systems • Experience with shipping platforms such as FedEx and UPS is an asset • Certified Customs Specialist (CCS) designation or willingness to obtain is preferred
