📋 Description

• Implement and support the strategic vision for assigned Accounts Receivable functions within Service Delivery • Direct, lead, and manage Accounts Receivable staff, including recruitment, training, coaching, counseling, and discipline • Oversee day-to-day accounting operations, including accounts receivable, EDI, rejection management, and denial management • Implement and optimize departmental best practices, policies, and standardized workflows through continuous improvement • Monitor outstanding accounts receivable and implement action plans using inventory management and root cause analysis • Develop, monitor, and achieve departmental metrics and enterprise benchmarks • Maintain productive inter-departmental relationships through collaboration, leadership, and end-to-end problem solving • Analyze collection trends and payment processing effectiveness; assist with executive summaries • Provide executive oversight for system upgrades for AR inventory applications • Hold regular management meetings to review accounting data and address concerns • Oversee RCM offshore relationships, resources, and productivity goals • Design and implement a BPO tracker comparing performance to KPIs • Work with offshore and U.S. service delivery/collections staff to maintain client expectations • Participate in bi-weekly offshore team meetings regarding client issues and KPI metrics • Coordinate with offshore lead generation and delivery teams to streamline new business • Manage vendor relationships and assignments • Perform special projects and other assigned duties

🎯 Requirements

• High School Diploma or GED • Bachelor’s Degree in Healthcare Administration, Business Administration, Benefits, or related field preferred, or equivalent training and/or experience • At least five (5) years of revenue cycle management or accounts receivable experience in healthcare and/or health insurance • At least two (2) years of supervisory, management, or leadership experience preferred • Offshore billing experience preferred • Strong working knowledge of revenue cycle metrics • Working knowledge of medical billing requirements • Knowledge of business and financial processes and procedures • Strong supervisory and management skills • Management-level oral, written, and interpersonal communication skills • Strong financial reporting and healthcare data analysis skills • Strong presentation development and delivery skills • Proficiency with word processing, spreadsheet, database, and presentation software • Strong decision-making, organizational, time management, problem-solving, and mathematical skills • Ability to present financial reporting and healthcare analytics to executives and managers • Ability to adapt communication style to different audiences • Ability to communicate professionally with business stakeholders and IT staff • Ability to lead and manage cross-functional teams • Ability to identify recurring and front-end issues and solve them • Ability to communicate professionally with diverse personalities
