📋 Description

• Contribute to the technical development of predictive analytics products • Collaborate with engineers, data scientists, domain experts, and business leaders • Develop applications that detect sensor anomalies, digital twins that simulate water treatment plants, and LLM-powered agents that synthesize water data • Own features end to end, including requirements, technical design, implementation, code review, testing, documentation, and troubleshooting • Build and operate cloud-native services on AWS and Azure • Write clean and scalable Angular frontend and C# backend code • Champion AI adoption and improve software development lifecycle processes while following AI governance best practices • Drive continuous improvement in productivity, quality, and team health • Manage and enhance development infrastructure, including build and test systems • Improve testing frameworks and contribute to unit, integration, and end-to-end testing • Report to the Director of Engineering & Predictive Analytics

🎯 Requirements

• Post-secondary degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a related technical discipline, or equivalent practical experience • 5+ years of industry experience designing, building, and operating large-scale, data-intensive, cloud-native applications using microservices architectures on AWS or Azure • Experience with modern front-end frameworks such as Angular, React, or Vue • Strong background in Microsoft development (.NET, C#, and related technologies) • Excellent verbal and written English communication skills • Genuine interest in using AI to accelerate software development • Hands-on experience with agentic engineering and AI-assisted development workflows • Expertise in database design and development using SQL, Oracle, or PostgreSQL • Background in environmental science, time series data, IoT, or industrial controls is an asset • Exposure to data science or machine learning concepts • Experience leading and mentoring junior developers
