📋 Description

• Build, maintain, and scale a large-scale platform handling millions of voice and SMS interactions monthly • Innovate on and scale GenAI and language AI voice technologies for low-resource languages • Create scalable software and drive solutions through completion with team members • Plan work, provide realistic estimates, and collaborate with Technical Project Managers • Contribute developer perspectives to solution and application design • Track estimates, communicate progress, and stay accountable to timelines • Balance quick fixes with long-term, high-quality solutions • Use consistent coding patterns and implementation approaches • Collaborate across engineering, QA, and Infrastructure • Unblock colleagues and help move the team forward • Contribute to engineering team processes, learning, productivity, and well-being • Take turns as the go-to production engineer, resolving issues across voice, SMS, and AI • Improve system observability, resilience, and rollout safety • Optionally manage and support colleagues' professional development

🎯 Requirements

• Senior-level web application development experience across all application layers • API development experience, including scalable, well-documented, developer-friendly APIs • Ability to balance speed and code quality • Ability to build scalable solutions using queues, caches, and smart design patterns • Proactive and continuous communication • LLM and Language AI technology experience (optional but nice to have) • Telephony and audio processing experience (optional but nice to have) • Ability to work within technical and architectural constraints and think creatively • Must be legally entitled to work in Canada • Availability to start as soon as possible preferred • Experience with Python, PHP/Laravel, Docker, Redis, RabbitMQ, Ansible, Git, Jenkins, BitBucket Pipelines, GitHub Actions, Travis CI, MySQL, BigQuery, Vue.js, TypeScript, ESLint, and Webpack is desirable
