📋 Description

• Learn and own the claims automation pipeline, reviewing and shipping changes independently within the first few months • Lower the cost of every processed claim by routing work to the appropriate models while maintaining or exceeding current accuracy • Restructure the pipeline so stages can be changed, tested, and rolled out independently, with evaluations gating every change • Ship automation enabling more claims to resolve without manual review • Partner with Product to determine future automation priorities • Use AI to read veterinary records and improve coverage decisions for more claim types • Own work from design through production

🎯 Requirements

• Shipped an LLM-powered feature to production that real users or real money depend on • Set up evaluations before rollout, versioned prompts and models, and planned for rollback • Designed or substantially refactored a business-critical system such as payments or claims without breaking it • Taken over a complex system and become a trusted owner • Made tradeoffs between model cost and quality and demonstrated quality with metrics • Uses coding agents and AI review tools every day • Strong Python skills • Experience with Django and TypeScript is a plus • Must work at least 6 hours of overlap with US Eastern Time
