📋 Description

• Join the Fund Operations team and execute daily fund accounting and capital activity processes • Own NAV-related tasks, including expense reviews, P&L verification, and cash and position reconciliations • Process subscriptions, redemptions, distributions, and capital calls for alternative funds • Handle in-kind and mutual fund transfer transactions within Fundserv • Act as a Fundserv subject matter expert from a fund manufacturing and dealer perspective • Collaborate with Asset Management, Compliance, Product, Trading, and Engineering • Ensure client-record accuracy and flag operational issues before they become client-facing problems • Respond to client inquiries and prepare ad-hoc portfolio reports • Coordinate with auditors during the annual audit and help prepare audit workpapers • Identify process inefficiencies and propose solutions, leveraging AI where useful • Maintain and update process documentation as operations scale

🎯 Requirements

• 1-2 years of experience at a fund management or fund administration company • Exposure to NAV calculations, tax and audit preparation, and settlement of orders, distributions, redemptions, and capital calls • Experience through a full fund accounting cycle, including trade execution, positions, bank reconciliations, audit support, and journal entries • Strong Excel skills • SQL or other programming experience considered a plus • Progress toward or completion of an industry designation (CPA, CFA, CAIA, CSC) considered a plus • Strong business judgment • Comfort working with large datasets under tight deadlines • Genuine curiosity about fintech and alternative investments • Legally eligible to work in Canada
