📋 Description

• Build containerized development environments across hundreds of services • Build verification systems for AI-native development that provide trustworthy answers quickly • Improve test flake detection, test selection, and actionable failure output • Modernize core libraries and CLI tools supporting the microservices architecture • Automate developer machine setup and replace legacy tools with safer, auditable alternatives • Build backend mocking solutions and enable isolated testing of asynchronous, event-driven workflows in ephemeral environments • Define and measure operational excellence through automated service scorecards • Provide insights into dependency management, monitoring, and scalability • Shape the developer journey from onboarding through ongoing code submissions • Support an engineering organization using Ruby, Python, Kotlin, and TypeScript • Collaborate with and mentor other developers

🎯 Requirements

• 7+ years of experience in software development as part of a team, preferably a platform-oriented team • 7+ years of experience with Ruby, Python, TypeScript, or Kotlin • Experience designing, building, and maintaining internal libraries, frameworks, or tooling used by other engineering teams • Hands-on experience with AI-assisted development and coding agents on real production work • Experience building with LLMs and evaluating the correctness of generated output • Deep interest in a fast, reliable, streamlined developer experience • Collaborative spirit and passion for mentorship • Comfort using metrics to identify opportunities and measure impact • Legally eligible to work in Canada • Must permanently reside in Canada
