📋 Description

• Design and deliver post-trade automations across depositories for new and existing products • Contribute to technical design decisions shaping the post-trade processing pipeline • Mentor developers through pairing, code review, and in-the-moment feedback • Use AI to accelerate development and explore new ideas in daily team workflows • Partner with Securities Operations, Product Management, and engineering teams to understand business and technical needs • Support clearing, settlement, and inventory reconciliation across external depositories • Build tools that help Securities Operations work efficiently • Report to the Software Development Manager, Post-Trade Management

🎯 Requirements

• Senior-level backend software development experience with a focus on Ruby on Rails • Experience designing and delivering complex automations or data pipelines in a production environment • Comfort working with high-stakes, high-accuracy systems where correctness and auditability matter • Experience mentoring other engineers through code review, pairing, or in-the-moment feedback • Strong communication skills and ability to work directly with operations, product, and engineering teams • Experience with Java or Kotlin, React, Oracle, Postgres, Kubernetes, or AWS infrastructure (nice to have) • Past FinTech experience or exposure to ledgers, brokerage, custody, clearing, or settlement systems (nice to have) • Experience in a regulated or compliance-sensitive engineering environment (nice to have) • Legal eligibility to work in Canada • Permanent residence location in Canada
