📋 Description

• Own and evolve the full-stack rendering pipeline for Yelp's WWW and mobile site Search pages • Design and maintain component registration and rendering frameworks for desktop and mobile Search pages • Build server-side view models and Python data hydration layers that serve props to React components • Develop and extend GraphQL APIs for client-side data fetching and mobile resolver-based architecture • Collaborate with feature teams on client-side UX, server-side factory functions, GraphQL resolvers, and data loading • Improve developer ergonomics, platform reliability, and web performance • Drive architectural decisions around Search page layouts, feature composition, rendering, and deployment

🎯 Requirements

• Ideally 5+ years of professional experience building full-stack web applications with Python on the server side and TypeScript/React on the client side • Strong understanding of component-based frontend architectures, server-side rendering (SSR) patterns, and client-side data fetching with GraphQL • Experience designing GraphQL schemas and resolvers, ideally with frameworks like Strawberry or similar typed Python GraphQL libraries • Platform engineering mindset focused on clean abstractions, extensibility, and developer experience • Comfortable working across multiple services and codebases, understanding backend-to-frontend data flow • Experience maintaining and scaling high-traffic web surfaces where performance and reliability are critical, including mobile-optimized experiences • Strong collaboration skills with the ability to support and unblock other engineering teams • Completion of a final-panel coding exercise using React and Flask in a code repository platform
