📋 Description

• Perform day-to-day accounting activities to maintain client records and ensure completeness • Enter data into accounting software while managing information and documentation integrity • Review and process client-submitted documentation, including bills and invoices • Proactively contact clients for additional required information • Communicate with clients by email and video calls • Organize and prepare accounting records, financial statements, and reports for the Senior Accountant • Provide regular accounts receivable and accounts payable processing • Prepare GST/HST/PST sales tax returns • Prepare accurate financial reports for Senior Accountants and clients • Manage and support client relationships • Use cloud accounting software, including Xero, QBO, Dext, and Plooto

🎯 Requirements

• 1 year of bookkeeping experience is required • Familiarity with cloud accounting software (such as Xero and/or QBO) • Must pass a criminal background check and/or education and employment verification • Working from home is a requirement, including access to high-speed internet and availability during core business hours • Comfortable with Claude prompts to automate repetitive tasks and accelerate research (preferred) • Attention to Detail and Strong Organizational Skills • Customer Service-Oriented with Excellent Communication • Adaptability and Effective Problem-Solving Skills • Time Management and Multitasking Abilities • Collaboration and Initiative in Team Settings
