📋 Description
• Resolve outstanding facility/physician AR through reviewing denials and taking corrective actions • Address and resolve AR inventory while adhering to client, payer, State and Federal rules and Acceptable Usage policy • Utilize web-based payer resources or phone calls to identify root cause for non-payment and take corrective action • Perform corrective actions including claim resubmission, corrected claim resubmission, resolve rejection edits, submit additional documentation, submit appeals, determine next responsible payer and recommend write-off/adjustments • Concise documentation of review, actions taken, tracking stamps like claim # and call reference # with dates and initials • Identify and escalate trends impacting claims resolution and suggest solutions • Follow up on resubmitted claims and appeals after payer adjudication timeframes
🎯 Requirements
• University graduate • 12 months – 4 years of Physician/Facility AR follow-up experience • CRCE/CRCP/CRCS certification will be an added advantage • Good analytical ability • Logical thought process • Attention to detail • Fair domain expertise and exposure to different billing applications • Good communication skills – Listening, Verbal and Written
