📋 Description

• 1kx is a global crypto investment firm that focuses on ecosystem growth and operates remotely across North America, Europe, and Asia • The Investment Analyst will focus on payments, real-world assets tokenization (RWAs), and broader DeFi, sourcing, evaluating, and supporting investments • You’ll distill complex technical and financial information and identify early trends, working closely with portfolio founders on go-to-market, business development, and ecosystem navigation • The role suits someone with investing, capital markets, and/or fintech background who’s excited about modernization of financial infrastructure via blockchain technology • The role offers learning at the intersection of crypto and venture capital, independent work, and opportunities to lead vertical research and deal sourcing • The team values a non-political, merit-based culture with regular off-sites and global collaboration

🎯 Requirements

• Prior experience in investment banking, private equity, venture capital, or fintech, with a strong interest in blockchain technology and financial infrastructure • Strong analytical and communication skills, with a proven ability to distill insights from complex datasets or market signals • Ability to form a clear opinion on emerging projects and communicate it in structured investment memos • Self-starter attitude with a strong sense of ownership and intellectual curiosity • Familiarity with how payment flows and asset issuance function in both traditional and crypto environments • Passion for decentralized finance and what it can mean for the future of money flows, including subtopics such as cross-border payments, tokenized assets, onchain credit, and stablecoins • Comfort reading and summarizing whitepapers and financial models
