📋 Description

• Solution Architecture & Strategy • Lead solution design: Architect and design comprehensive solutions across the ServiceNow platform, ensuring they are scalable, sustainable, and aligned with the Common Service Data Model (CSDM). • Drive best practices: Define and enforce platform governance, coding standards, and development best practices to maintain platform health and integrity. • Technical Road mapping: Advise clients and internal teams on platform roadmaps, new features, and upgrade strategies, providing expert recommendations. • Mentorship: Act as a technical mentor and escalation point for junior and mid-level developers, conducting code reviews and fostering a culture of technical excellence. • Advanced Development & Configuration • Complex Scripting: Develop complex server-side and client-side scripts (Business Rules, Script Includes, UI Actions, Client Scripts) to meet custom requirements. • Workflow & Automation: Design and implement modern, efficient automation using Flow Designer, Orchestration, and UI Builder. • Core Module Expertise: Lead development efforts across the platform, including (but not limited to) ITSM, ITOM (Discovery, Service Mapping), Service Catalog, and CMDB. • Integration & Platform Health • Integration Architecture: Architect, build, and maintain complex integrations with third-party systems using IntegrationHub, REST/SOAP APIs, and MID Servers. • Platform Performance: Proactively monitor system performance, availability, and scalability. Serve as the final escalation point for complex technical issues and high-priority incidents, leading root cause analysis. • Upgrades & Maintenance: Lead platform upgrade cycles, including planning, testing, and remediation, ensuring minimal disruption to business operations. • Client Engagement & User Experience • Technical Consultation: Lead technical workshops and discovery sessions with clients and stakeholders to gather and refine requirements, demonstrating platform capabilities. • Portal Development: Design, develop, and enhance user-centric experiences on Service Portal, Employee Center, and mobile applications. • Documentation: Create and maintain high-quality technical documentation, including solution architecture diagrams, data flow models, and release notes.

🎯 Requirements

• Experience: 5-7+ years of hands-on ServiceNow development experience, with at least 2+ years in a senior or lead developer capacity. • Certifications: • o ServiceNow Certified Application Developer (CAD) • o ITIL v3 or v4 Foundation Certification • Technical Proficiency: • o Expert proficiency in JavaScript, HTML, and CSS. • o Deep experience with ServiceNow scripting (server-side and client-side) and Glide APIs. • o Proven experience building and consuming complex REST and SOAP APIs. • o Hands-on experience with Flow Designer, IntegrationHub, and MID Server configuration. • Core Skills: • o Strong knowledge of ITIL processes (Incident, Problem, Change, Service Catalog). • o Demonstrable experience with database design, schema, and CSDM alignment. • o Exceptional analytical, problem-solving, and debugging skills. • Soft Skills: • o Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to explain complex technical concepts to non-technical audiences. • o Proven ability to work independently, manage multiple priorities, and lead projects in a remote environment. • o Strong consulting mindset with a focus on client success.
