📋 Description

• Develop, evolve, and maintain robust, scalable back-end services in PHP/Laravel; • Lead technical decisions and support the definition of the platform services architecture; • Anticipate performance, security, and cost bottlenecks, proposing sustainable architectural solutions; • Drive integrations with internal and external systems, defining contracts and integration standards; • Participate in diagnosing production incidents (SLA / RCA), implementing structural fixes rather than temporary patches; • Define and enforce engineering standards (logging, version control, modularization, testing, observability); • Influence the technical roadmap: identify technical debt, prioritize refactors, and propose platform improvements; • Mentor and support less-experienced developers, promoting architecture and code best practices; • Collaborate with DevOps to ensure automation, traceability, security, and compliance in production; • Collaborate with Product to turn business requirements into clear, performant, and secure technical solutions.

🎯 Requirements

• 4–7 years of back-end development experience with PHP/Laravel in production environments; • Strong experience with Git, Linux, Docker, and relational databases (SQL); • Solid experience in API architecture and integrations with third-party systems (webhooks, queues, etc.); • Expertise in Laravel (jobs, events, queues, caching, observers, traits, domain boundaries, etc.); • Proficiency in architecture and engineering patterns (PSR, SOLID, light DDD, decoupled modules); • Extensive experience with automated testing (unit/feature) and advanced production troubleshooting; • API documentation using OpenAPI/Swagger; • Strong knowledge of application security (authorization, authentication, OWASP, mitigation of common attacks); • Experience with CI/CD pipelines, deployment automation, and structured code reviews; • Experience with monitoring, metrics, and observability (structured logs, tracing, SLO/SLA); • Experience optimizing performance (queries, caching, queues, throughput limits); • Experience with complementary persistence (e.g., Redis, Elasticsearch, or other NoSQL) in real-world scenarios; • Ability to evaluate technical trade-offs (time, cost, risk, complexity) in architectural decisions; • Previous experience with SaaS/data-driven products, with a platform mindset rather than just feature delivery. • ***Nice-to-haves*** • Experience with Node.js — we have occasional projects on that stack in addition to Laravel; • Event-driven architecture and messaging (Kafka / RabbitMQ / SQS); • Cloud (AWS) and infrastructure as code; • Practical experience with modular monoliths or high-availability platforms.
