• Contact clients within 24 hours of receiving their case and introduce themselves • Present initial settlement offers within 48 hours of receipt • Educate clients about further medical treatments and the necessity of filing lawsuits • Return client calls and voicemails the same day • Maintain bi-weekly communication with clients and provide case-status updates • Inform clients of settlements and explain the reductions process • Follow up with insurance companies after settlement demands and continue until responses are received • Communicate settlement offers and counteroffers under attorney supervision • Conduct settlement negotiations under attorney supervision • Confirm UM, PIP, and BI coverage information • Follow up on declaration pages and UM rejection forms • Send UM subrogation waivers and confirm waivers • Schedule mediations and prepare mediation, global settlement, and settlement conference summaries • Maintain accurate case notes and records in Litify • Keep client files, negotiation links, resolution links, expenses, and related case links updated • Save documents and photos in appropriate folders • Pay outstanding invoices and track expenses • Review settlement offers and revise surgical case reviews • Conduct weekly case audits and discharge cases as needed • Draft and file lawsuits, and dismiss lawsuits, on behalf of the attorney when applicable • Obtain provider estimates and health insurance liens before closing cases • Check provider balances and obtain authority before settling hospital cases • Address client concerns and inquiries promptly and professionally • Manage an average caseload of 80–120 personal injury cases • Meet monthly treatment and settlement performance targets • Attend required in-person training, including occasional weekend sessions
• Fluent in English and Spanish • Proficiency in Litify software and Microsoft Office Suite • Expert knowledge and understanding of the complete Bodily Injury Claims process • Prior case-management/personal-injury experience preferred • Strong organizational and leadership skills • Excellent written, verbal, communication, and interpersonal skills • Reliable and consistently punctual • Ability to work well in a team environment • Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer • Ability to lift 15 pounds at times • Ability to access and navigate each department at the organization’s facilities • Manage an average caseload of 80–120 Personal Injury cases • Achieve a minimum settlements target per month • Complete at least 3 surgeries, 5 rhizotomies, and 5 injections per month for additional treatments • Review settlement offers, additional demands, and surgery reviews within 48 hours of receipt • Attend additional in-person training, occasionally scheduled on weekends • Supply own equipment, software, internet connection, and workspace • Computer meeting specified Windows 11 or macOS 14 hardware requirements • Internet connection of at least 30 Mbps download and 15 Mbps upload, with latency under 100 ms • Private, password-protected network; public Wi-Fi is not permitted • USB noise-cancelling headset and webcam • Full-disk encryption, automatic security updates, screen lock, endpoint protection, and secure data storage
