📋 Description

• Own the end-to-end billing process, auditing invoicing and credit memo runs for accuracy • Manage subscription billing in Stripe, including recurring payments, plans, discounts, and tax configurations • Reconcile transactions and payment records and resolve billing discrepancies • Handle chargebacks, refunds, and failed payments in Stripe • Partner with Engineering or Product on integrations • Maintain the aging report and apply credit memos accurately • Update customer accounts for plan changes and maintain clean customer data • Respond to billing questions and partner with Customer Success on customer experience • Build billing and payment reports • Identify process improvements and use AI tools to automate review, reconciliation, and reporting

🎯 Requirements

• 2+ years as a Billing Specialist, AR Analyst, or similar role • Hands-on Stripe experience (dashboard, subscriptions, API tools) • Familiarity with financial regulations and GAAP • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills • High proficiency in Excel or Google Sheets • Workday a plus • Strong organization and attention to detail • Clear communication and strong customer service instincts • Hands-on experience using AI tools to automate or optimize workflows • Demonstrated experience leveraging AI tools and technologies to improve workflows, enhance decision-making, or drive innovation • Bonus: SaaS or e-commerce experience and other payment gateways • Bonus: Bachelor's in Finance or Accounting, or equivalent experience
