📋 Description

• Inspect, evaluate and write appraisal estimates for automobile losses • Communicate with insureds, auto body shops, contractors, and adjusters • Negotiate on automobile total losses and estimate salvage values • Assist adjusting personnel with expert advice on auto damage losses • Perform timely inspections and re-inspections as assigned • Maintain accurate records in claims systems

🎯 Requirements

• Daily travel required in and around San Diego, CA • Expertise in automobile physical damage claims estimation and negotiation • Strong communication skills with insureds, auto body shops, contractors, and adjusters • Ability to inspect, evaluate and write appraisal estimates using estimating software • Experience in negotiating automobile total losses and estimating salvage values • Capacity to establish and maintain business relationships with independent repair contractors/vendors • Must remain up-to-date with legislative changes and industry trends
