• Responsible for supervising, managing and motivating team members daily to function in a goal-oriented manner. • Create an inspiring and trusting team environment promoting the growth of team members with an open communication culture. • Responsible for effective planning and scheduling of workload and performance of team members. • Ensures team is right-sized and right-skilled. • Interview and hire team members. • Listen to team members’ feedback and resolve any issues or conflicts, escalating issues as needed. • Provide ongoing training and coaching to team members. • Coordinates team efforts to complete a timely month end project review. • Serves as Quality Control and review all projects, quarterly, to identify issues. • Maintains lead point of contact for Finance and Finance Systems Director, Chief Financial Officer, Chief Operating Officer and Sector Leaders for monthly reporting. • Strives to increase EBITDA margins by developing and providing timely, consistent, accurate Key Performance Indicators reporting through use of Power Bi, Reporting, Month-end summaries/packages, perform data analysis and forecasting to support operational investments and decision making. • Ensure risk is properly managed/mitigated and properly accounted for and ensures compliance with Federal/State regulations. • Focuses on improving operations and maximizing financial return.
• Must have a BA/BS and eight (8) years related experience, MA/MS and six (6) years related experience, or ten (10) years related experience. • Must be mentally and physically capable of performing all essential duties required of the position. • Must possess above average Microsoft Office suite skills. • Must be proficient with Adobe products, database management software and the Internet. • Must maintain positive working relationships with others, both internally and externally. • Must work equally well with all levels of management, clients, and employees. • Must demonstrate excellent oral and written communication skills. • Must be able to anticipate, understand and respond to the needs of internal and external clients. • Must be able to work collaboratively and effectively with others to set goals, resolve problems, and make decisions to enhance organization effectiveness. • Must demonstrate the ability to undertake self-directed tasks when necessary. • Must possess strong conflict resolution skills. • Must demonstrate excellent time management skills and attention to detail. • Must demonstrate above average analytical skills. • Must have above average MIS, accounting, and financial skills. • Must be able to develop a work schedule, set goals, create/implement action plans and monitor progress towards goals. • Must demonstrate the ability to make clear, timely decisions. • Must be able to work overtime as needed. • Must be able to travel occasionally.
