• Develops models and drawings including conceptual designs, parametric modeling and new technologies using software • Utilizes programming to automatically generate Bill of Materials and electrical schematics • Reviews schematics for designs and makes design recommendations • Collaborates with other designers and engineers to ensure that the electrical systems integrate seamlessly with other systems • Provides support to production team during prototypes and production launch to facilitate seamless releases • Seeks ways to implement new ideas and technologies • Keeps pace with the implementation of new electrical design features • Collaborates with the Design Engineering team to develop design standards • Supports DFMEAs, PFMEAs, CFD, FEA, and Seismic evaluations and testing
• A two-year technical degree is preferred • 3-5 years’ experience in the HVAC industry or equivalent experience in a similar industry • Eplan ECE certification preferred but not required • Excels in electrical and controls analysis of assemblies • Demonstrates excellent electrical, controls and design aptitude • Communicates effectively in written and spoken form • Demonstrates excellent interpersonal relationship skills • Exhibits good decision making and analytical problem-solving abilities • Demonstrates strong multi-tasking capabilities and organizational skills • Works effectively in a fast-paced, high-pressure, team environment
