📋 Description

• Coordinate multiple external technical projects from inception to completion using established processes and templates • Lead Professional Services stand-ups and meetings and collaborate on project planning, design, deliverables, timelining, and contingency planning • Understand SOW requirements and convert them into realistic, executable project plans • Manage project resources, budgets, T&M scope, and confirm time entries • Ensure QA standards are met before project delivery and employ scope containment measures • Assist in initial triage and establishment of access for project kick-off and drive development of project proposals and scope documentation • Assign and align resources, follow up with engineers regularly, and leverage conflict management techniques • Monitor and summarize project progress to stakeholders including Company Leadership, Finance, Client Contacts and IR Partners • Set and conduct status meetings with client contacts and lead creation of PowerPoint presentations and project reports • Participate in incident response on-call rotation and identify when to escalate issues • Address billing disputes, overruns, and customer service issues and conduct post-mortems to improve processes • Actively solve technical or business roadblocks and verify outcomes personally, leveraging intermediate to advanced systems configuration and management knowledge • Maintain billable utilization targets, ensure mandatory reports are updated daily, meet project deadlines, keep projects profitable, and record work in ServiceNow • Follow Abacus’s project process and Change Management Process and communicate internally and externally regarding project status

🎯 Requirements

• Ideally a four-year degree in a relevant field • Working towards or have obtained PMP certification (preferred) • At least 5 years of experience delivering IT waterfall projects (minimum) • Experience managing projects as the assigned PM and owning client-facing projects • Experience with enterprise systems and virtualization • Superb writing skills and highly refined verbal communication skills • Ability to work adaptable hours including evenings, weekends, and holidays • Open to minimal travel to client sites when required • Ready to be an effective remote worker with a dedicated private home office and private internet connection of at least 50MBPS • Knowledge of Microsoft technologies: Windows Server, Exchange, SQL Server, SharePoint, Active Directory, GPO, LAPS, SCCM, MDT, Intune, O365, Azure • Experience with virtualization: VMware and Microsoft Hyper-V • Experience with backup and disaster recovery solutions for desktops and servers • Experience with access solutions: VPN, Remote Desktop, Citrix • Ability to review event logs, Syslogs, monitoring data, and memory dumps • Familiarity with security-enhancing solutions (MFA, endpoint protection) • Experience recording change details, time entries, and work notes in ServiceNow in real-time
