📋 Description

• Execute assignments using established solutions. • May act as a design authority and completes engineering assignments. • Collaborates on project installation, commissioning and site activities, clarifying potential issues or providing solutions to correct engineering errors. • Provides technical support to commissioning and start-up activities. • Assists in creating proposals for projects. • Supports Contract Manager in issuing claims. • Creates work plans and cost estimates in one’s area of responsibility. • Evaluates risks and opportunities, strategizes mitigation of one’s engineering projects/programs. • Interact with customers, contractors, suppliers. • Oversee the creation of subcontracts and manage subcontractors jointly with other involved functions.

🎯 Requirements

• Minimum 6 to 10 years of design, engineering, testing, commissioning and consulting experience of Control and Safety Systems in oil & gas production / refining / petrochemical / pharmaceutical industry. • Experience in managing cross-functional teams. • TUV Functional Safety Engineer Certification (or equivalent). • Working knowledge of the Safety Lifecycle and participation in functional safety assessments. • Working knowledge of IEC61508 and IEC61511. • Proficiency in Safety System design, application programming, hardware design, and HMI graphics development. • Experience in safety system hardware inspection, FAT, SAT, loop checks, start-up and commissioning. • Must have good communication & leadership capabilities. • Must have strong team-building skills. • Willingness to travel to customer sites.
