• Strategic and operational support of patient organizations and professional associations, as well as management of regional and national projects to promote patient engagement. • Identification and development of new cooperation and business opportunities through proactive outreach to potential partners and initiation of partnerships. • Development and implementation of formats/events to expand the reach and visibility of patient-centered initiatives. • Building, maintaining and further developing a robust network with patient organizations, patient representatives and relevant healthcare stakeholders. • Planning and execution of events and promotional activities in close collaboration with Marketing. • Representing Abbott Diabetes Care at health fairs, events and networking activities. • Responsible for achieving defined engagement, cooperation and project objectives. • Collaborating with Market Access, Marketing and Field Sales to leverage patient potential in the assigned regions. • Responsible for budget planning as well as analysis and presentation of relevant market and patient information.
• University degree or equivalent qualification in healthcare, natural sciences, communications or business. • Several years' professional experience in the medical device or pharmaceutical industry, ideally in field sales, project or event management. • Proven experience in project management, event management and building networks and stakeholder relationships. • Knowledge of the German healthcare market; experience in the diabetes field and working with patient organizations is an advantage. • Strong affinity for digital health and medical device solutions. • Excellent communication and presentation skills, and a highly independent and structured working style. • Proactive working style with high personal responsibility and enjoyment in B2B outreach and acquiring new business partners. • Business-fluent German, good English skills and a high willingness to travel within Germany.
