📋 Description

• Define and drive architecture, technical strategy, and engineering standards across multiple CRM-space teams • Own architecture and design patterns for large-scale, data-intensive systems spanning segmentation, CRM workflows, and shared platform paths • Raise engineering standards for reliability, performance, observability, and operability at scale • Align technical direction with Leads, Product, CRM Ops, Connect, and partner squads • Mentor engineers and technical leads across the CRM domain • Lead diagnosis and resolution of high-severity, cross-team CRM customer incidents • Establish practical standards for safe, evidence-based AI use across engineering and relevant CRM workflows • Identify and deliver platform improvements that reduce systemic risk and accelerate delivery • Strengthen execution through CI/CD, production readiness, observability, continuous improvement, and improved ways of working • Set technical direction for platform migrations and integrations, including migration tooling, data cutover, and dual-run/coexistence strategies • Shape webhook and third-party integration architecture

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or relevant field is preferred, not required • 8+ years of software engineering experience • Proven staff/principal-level technical impact • Deep systems design experience for distributed, data-intensive products affecting multiple teams and services • Strong judgment on architecture trade-offs, production readiness, and long-term maintainability • Understanding of agile development methods in an Agile/Lean/Continuous Delivery environment • Knowledge of modern Quality and Testing principles • Strong written and verbal communication • Ability to influence technical direction across teams and align senior engineering and product stakeholders • Comfortable learning new technologies and systems • Hands-on experience designing and delivering large data/platform migrations, including tooling, cutover, rollback, and dual-run operability • Experience establishing engineering standards across multiple squads • Experience with Golang and/or Java services at scale is advantageous • Deep experience with large MySQL/relational data platforms is advantageous • Experience with NoSQL databases such as MongoDB is advantageous • Prior CRM, marketing-tech, or audience/segmentation domain experience is advantageous • Experience with query federation/distributed querying systems is advantageous • Track record leading complex, multi-team incidents or production fixes is advantageous • Practical experience applying AI in software delivery or CRM/marketing-tech products is advantageous
