📋 Description

• Review provider documentation on an ongoing basis • Provide feedback for practitioners on areas to improve • Review documentation by chart daily for Coding Production • Provide feedback to Documentation Specialist on documentation trends • Assist with coding audits, reviews, and compliance initiatives • Conduct thorough reviews of medical records and encounter forms • Communicate coding and documentation-related trends and issues to clients • Stay informed about changes in coding guidelines

🎯 Requirements

• High School Diploma or GED required • Certified Professional Coder (CPC) or equivalent required • At least four (4) years of coding experience • At least two (2) years of auditing experience • Degree in Healthcare Administration, Health Information Management, or related field preferred • Strong knowledge of Radiology Coding and Documentation guidelines • Knowledge of requirements of medical record documentation • Knowledge of medical terminology and anatomy • Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills • Strong organizational skills and time management skills
