📋 Description

• Generate, review, and issue customer invoices; ensure billing data accuracy and resolve discrepancies • Track, schedule, and recognize deferred revenue in accordance with revenue recognition standards such as ASC 606 • Assist with sales tax calculations, filings, and compliance • Support amortization schedules and journal entries for capitalized sales commissions under ASC 606 / ASC 340-40 • Assist with lease schedules, right-of-use asset calculations, and journal entries under ASC 842 • Support financial statement consolidation across entities or subsidiaries, including intercompany eliminations • Assist with journal entries, accruals, and close checklist items during month-end and quarter-end close • Review and prepare global balance sheet reconciliations and resolve variances • Support monthly financial statements, supporting schedules, and flux analysis for management review • Compile data and schedules for investor and board reporting packages • Manage end-to-end operational accounting for the Canadian entity, including AP invoice booking, credit card transactions, and expense claims • Perform Bank Reconciliation Statements and manage related banking resolutions • Handle payroll processing, monthly payroll reconciliations, and fixed asset accounting • Scrub NetSuite transaction data for flux analysis • Support external audits

🎯 Requirements

• Newly qualified Chartered Accountant (CA) with 1–3 years of experience, OR another Finance qualification (B.Com, M.Com, MBA, etc.) with 4–8 years of experience in financial reporting, core accounting, etc. • Basic understanding of U.S. GAAP; knowledge of ASC 606, ASC 842, or ASC 340-40 is a plus • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including pivot tables and VLOOKUP/XLOOKUP • Familiarity with ERP systems such as NetSuite, SAP, or Oracle is a plus • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills • Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines, especially during close cycles • Good communication skills and willingness to learn • Must be based in Bangalore • Willingness to work a night shift with hours overlapping US Pacific Time through 12:00 PM PST • Ability to coordinate with the US-based finance team
