📋 Description

• Oversee assigned consumer lending products and related payables, receivables, and revenue • Provide coaching and direction on work issues • Set team goals and review achievements monthly • Manage staff development, training, coaching, and retention • Communicate deadlines, workloads, and scheduling issues to management • Prepare and review journal entries, conduct variance analyses, and resolve account variances • Prepare and/or review month-end account reconciliations • Respond to internal department questions and liaise with select external parties • Assist with internal control assessments, risk assessments, and reviews of risk areas • Identify inefficiencies and recommend improvements to accelerate month-end close while maintaining accounting integrity • Perform analytics and projects supporting executives and operations management • Establish, monitor, and enforce company policies, procedures, and internal controls • Support external audits by preparing audit support and answering questions

🎯 Requirements

• Accounting degree • 5+ years general accounting experience • 3 years supervisory experience • Ability to apply critical thinking, analyze information and establish resolution plans • Ability to work independently and collaborate with others • Strong organization and ability to prioritize tasks for self and team • High accuracy under tight time constraints • Ability to handle large datasets, complex GL strings, and multiple entities/currencies • Strong Microsoft Excel skills, including pivot tables, VLOOKUPs, and filtering • Excellent oral and written communication skills • Familiarity with Oracle ERP system is a plus • Comfortable working in a changing, fast-paced environment
