📋 Description

• Develop STACKIT knowledge through STACKIT University and practical implementation work • Design, provision, and maintain cloud infrastructure using Terraform or OpenTofu • Manage IP addressing, routing, DNS, and firewall rules • Configure IAM, access controls, and secure configuration practices • Deploy and manage containerized workloads on STACKIT Kubernetes Engine (SKE) • Manage and troubleshoot Linux systems and cloud environments • Build and improve CI/CD pipelines and deployment automation • Implement monitoring, logging, and alerting • Develop reusable infrastructure modules, documentation, and operational practices with architects and engineers • Contribute to technical discovery and customer delivery as the STACKIT capability develops • Contribute to technical decisions and establish engineering practices • Complete a planned STACKIT University onboarding and learning phase of approximately 6–8 weeks

🎯 Requirements

• Hands-on experience in DevOps, Cloud Engineering, Platform Engineering, or a similar role • Practical experience with at least one cloud platform: AWS, Azure, GCP, OpenStack, or STACKIT • Strong Infrastructure as Code skills using Terraform or OpenTofu • Solid Linux administration and troubleshooting skills • Good understanding of networking fundamentals, including CIDR notation, routing, DNS, and firewall rules • Practical experience with Kubernetes and containerized workloads • Understanding of IAM and cloud security practices • Experience with Git, CI/CD tooling, and deployment automation • Scripting skills in Bash, Python, or a similar language • Ability to work independently, take ownership, and contribute to technical decisions • Good English communication skills • Motivation to learn STACKIT and help build a new delivery team • Previous experience with STACKIT cloud services is nice to have • Experience with cloud migrations or setting up new cloud environments is nice to have • Experience creating reusable Terraform/OpenTofu modules is nice to have • Familiarity with Helm, GitOps, Prometheus, and Grafana is nice to have
