📋 Description

• Develop and maintain integrations between CRM, finance, communication, and other business systems • Write and maintain code for integrations, automation, data processing, and reporting • Work with REST APIs, webhooks, JSON, authentication, and third-party integrations • Extract, transform, validate, and move data between business systems • Develop solutions using Python, Node.js/JavaScript, C#, Java, or PHP • Troubleshoot integration issues and implement long-term solutions • Extract data from CRM platforms through APIs and other data sources • Build scheduled processes that collect and store data in relational databases • Design and maintain database tables and write SQL queries, joins, and data transformations • Create datasets for historical reporting, trend analysis, and reconciliation • Build or support scheduled reports and business dashboards • Ensure reporting data is accurate, consistent, and traceable to source systems • Design, build, test, and maintain business process automations • Work with Zapier, n8n, Make, Power Automate, or similar tools • Maintain and improve existing automations and integrations • Select coded solutions or automation platforms based on reliability and scalability • Implement validation, error handling, logging, monitoring, and alerts • Investigate and resolve production workflow failures • Support practical AI integrations, including LLM APIs and AI-assisted workflows • Identify opportunities to reduce repetitive manual processes • Document integrations, workflows, databases, and technical processes • Work with internal stakeholders to translate business requirements into technical solutions

🎯 Requirements

• Approximately 3–6 years of professional software development, backend development, integration engineering, data engineering, RPA development, or similar experience • Professional programming experience, ideally established before the widespread adoption of AI coding tools • Strong coding fundamentals in at least one programming language such as Python, JavaScript/Node.js, C#, Java, or PHP • Hands-on experience with SQL and relational databases • Experience designing database tables and working with queries, joins, and structured datasets • Experience working with REST APIs, webhooks, JSON, and system integrations • Experience building scheduled processes that extract data from APIs or business systems and store it in a database • Professional experience with at least one automation platform such as Zapier, n8n, Make, or Power Automate • Experience troubleshooting and maintaining systems or automations in a production environment • Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work independently • Desirable: Zapier; Pipedrive or other CRM platforms; dashboard and BI tools such as Power BI, Metabase, Looker Studio, or Grafana; Python for data processing and automation; AI model APIs such as OpenAI, Claude, or Gemini; professional services or Australian business experience
